Unreal Engine Cinematic Creator – Rick Davidson
Create your own cinematic moments with Unreal Engine 4’s Sequencer Tool.
Sequencer (which comes with the Unreal Editor (no additional software required) is a powerful editor that allows you add tracks and animated everything, from your cameras to characters to your world.
This course will teach you how to:
- Design your non-Interactive cut scene that is activated from gameplay.
- You can create interesting shots with your camera and animated them as if Steven Spielberg were your personal camera operator.
- You can add movement and flavor to your levels by animating world events that occur as the player moves through them (explosions, landslides anyone?)).
- You can create simple gameplay systems, such as allowing your player to open doors if they get too close.
- You can create animation sequences and convert them into movie format to make your own short films, if desired.
We’ll also discuss cinematography theory, such as how to create different shots or move your camera using various methods, including camera rails and cranes.
